Jack-Up Rigs

Jack-up rigs are mobile offshore units designed for shallow waters, typically up to about 120 meters. They have extendable legs that rest on the seabed, lifting the platform above sea level for stability. These rigs are widely used for offshore exploration and development drilling. Their simple design makes them cost-effective and reliable in calm to moderate sea conditions.
Semi-Submersible Rigs

Semi-submersible rigs float on partially submerged pontoons, providing excellent stability in rough seas. They are anchored or dynamically positioned and are used in deep and ultra-deep waters. These rigs are favored for harsh offshore environments due to their motion resistance. They are commonly used for exploratory and appraisal drilling.
Drill ships

Drillships are ship-shaped vessels equipped with advanced drilling systems and dynamic positioning. They operate in ultra-deep waters, often exceeding 3,000 meters. Their high mobility allows rapid relocation between drilling sites. Drillships are among the most technologically advanced and expensive drilling units in the oil and gas industry.
